What an honor it was to commemorate my friend, Jodi's pregnancy nearly two years ago. And, now, I cannot imagine Jodi and Doug without their precious little twin girls. They came over today to play and I simply had to pull out the camera. Who wouldn't?

She works with all the local photographers. So, when she asked me to be the one to photograph her a few days ago, I was delighted! Ruthie has modeled, which added some unique dimensions to our images. She had such a confidence in front of the camera. Thank you, Ruthie!

Tim, Alana, Jasmine, and Little Simeon

Tim and Alana have become friends of ours this year. They welcomed sweet Simeon into the world two weeks ago. He has olive skin and this wonderfully wavy, dark hair. Every time I see this little one, it looks as though his mother has been fussing over his locks a bit. She assures me that she has not. It's all Simeon!

What a great family... and THREE girls! I can't imagine having three girls. This was a fun shoot. We met at a park in the Valley on Monday and just enjoyed the sun. Thank you, Joel and Stacey. It's been a treat to get to know you all a bit better this week!

parachutes staff

Yesterday, I got to photograph the staff of Parachutes, an Anchorage ministry. The three seem really to enjoy one another - as much friends as they are colleagues. The smiles came quick. It was all so natural. Thanks, Joel, Tim, and Kim!

baby liza

Liza’s mom received a photography session as a baby shower gift. So, after interrupting a nap yesterday morning, I got to photograph little Liza (aka ‘Peanut’). She was so intrigued by the light from the windows and my flash. Such feminine features on this little one. What fun it was to watch episodes of peek-a-boo and to wait on her smile.

Nick and Jess: The Wedding

We couldn’t wait to get out to Aspen, Colorado to shoot the nuptials of Nick and Jess. The Redstone Inn has such character and intrigue – plenty of quirky little nooks and crannies just begging for a camera. I was thrilled that we had enough time to photograph Nick and Jess around the grounds just prior to the reception. A wonderful weekend with a dear couple. Thank you, Nick and Jess.

Nick and Trish: The Wedding

Capturing the marriage of Nick and Trish was great fun for my husband, Kristian and me. We flew to San Francisco, California and joined their family and friends celebrating that weekend. The golf course at Burlingame was an exquisite location perfectly suited for a couple so very in love. Our best to you now and always, Nick and Trish!
